The UNOX Wafer Type Butterfly Valve with Iron Disc is a high-performance solution for reliable shut-off and flow control in water treatment, HVAC, and general industrial piping systems. Its wafer-type body allows easy centering and installation between flanges, ensuring leak-free operation and low maintenance requirements.
Built for strength and long service life, the valve body is made of robust ductile iron (GGG-40), while the nickel-plated ductile iron disc (GGG40.3) provides excellent corrosion and wear resistance. The stem is manufactured from AISI 420 stainless steel, delivering high mechanical durability and precise control. Sealing is ensured by an EPDM elastomer seat, which withstands a wide range of fluids and maintains tight closure.
The valve is rated for a maximum operating pressure of PN16 (approx. 232 psi) and a maximum operating temperature of 120 °C (approx. 248 °F). Its electrostatic powder coating offers an additional layer of surface protection against harsh environments.
