Manual Knife Gate Valve
The UNOX Manual Knife Gate Valve is engineered for reliable on/off flow control in pipelines carrying liquids, slurries, and semi-solid media. Designed for durability and ease of operation, this valve ensures smooth flow isolation even in systems containing viscous or abrasive materials.
The body is made of GGG-40 ductile iron, providing excellent mechanical strength and shock resistance, while the knife plate is manufactured from AISI 304 or AISI 316 stainless steel, offering superior corrosion resistance and a sharp sealing edge for efficient shutoff.
The seat ring options EPDM, NBR, Viton, or PTFE allow compatibility with various process fluids, ensuring reliable sealing and minimal maintenance requirements. The valve operates under a pressure rating of PN16 (up to 16 Bar / 232 PSI) and a temperature range of –10 °C to +110 °C (14 °F to 230 °F), making it suitable for diverse industrial conditions.
The manual handwheel design allows precise operation and easy maintenance. Optional stainless steel body versions (AISI 304 or AISI 316) are available for corrosive or hygienic applications such as chemical processing, water treatment, food industries, and pulp systems.
The UNOX Manual Knife Gate Valve is the perfect balance of simplicity, reliability, and long-term sealing performance for demanding flow control applications.
