UNOX Y-Type Stainless Steel Strainer
The UNOX Y-Type Stainless Steel Strainer is engineered to protect pumps, valves, and other critical equipment by removing solid particles from liquid, steam, or gas pipelines. With its robust stainless steel body and precision-machined Y-shape design, this strainer ensures a long service life, high corrosion resistance, and minimal pressure drop. It is ideal for applications in water treatment, chemical processing, steam systems, food and beverage production, and HVAC installations.
Crafted entirely from AISI 304 or AISI 316 stainless steel (depending on model), the body and cap deliver outstanding mechanical strength and resistance to aggressive fluids. The internal screen is also made of stainless steel, providing a fine filtration capability while withstanding high pressure and temperature conditions. The Y-type configuration makes it easy to clean and maintain—simply remove the drain plug or cap to access and clean the mesh filter without dismantling the entire pipeline.
Designed to meet the needs of both industrial and commercial facilities, the UNOX Y-Type Stainless Steel Strainer supports a maximum operating pressure of PN16 (approx. 232 psi) and a maximum temperature up to 200 °C (approx. 392 °F), depending on gasket selection. Its compact size and flanged or threaded connection options provide flexibility for installation in tight spaces. Electro-polished internal surfaces reduce friction and the risk of contamination, ensuring smooth and hygienic operation.
