UNOX Inverted Bucket Steam Trap Threaded
The UNOX Inverted Bucket Steam Trap Threaded is designed for long-lasting, energy-efficient condensate discharge in industrial steam systems. Its proven inverted bucket operating principle ensures that live steam remains in the system while condensate and air are removed reliably.
This heavy-duty trap features a GGG 40.3 spheroidal graphite cast iron body and GGG cast iron cover, delivering excellent strength and resistance to thermal shock and corrosion. The trap withstands a maximum working pressure of 16 bar (≈232 psi) and a maximum operating temperature of 250 °C (≈482 °F). It offers a differential pressure (Δp) range of 4.5 – 10 – 14 bar (≈65 – 145 – 203 psi), making it suitable for a variety of medium- to high-pressure steam applications.
The threaded BSP or NPT connections simplify installation and maintenance. The internal valve components are precision-machined for tight sealing and consistent operation, minimizing steam losses. Built-in strainer protection helps prevent clogging and extends the service life.
